Description
Simplicity using quality materials and colors rooted in nature are hallmarks of the mid-century modern aesthetic and key to this bathroom design. Light grey porcelain tile with a sandstone look unifies the wet (2" x 2" tile) and dry areas (12" x 24") of the bathroom. It’s understated appearance quietly draws the eye to the walls where color becomes more important. A modern take on subway tile, the shower walls feature 3” x 10” blue-green tile installed in a horizontal stacked pattern. The color conversation continues on the opposite wall with paint in a complementary lighter hue. A vanity crafted from dark brown walnut adds essential warmth and character and is contrasted with a white quartz top. The globe light, now a classic staple of modern design is given an orange accent for a playful touch. The entire design is pulled together with easy to maintain matte black plumbing fixtures, hardware and accessories.
